Non-Profit Campaign

Forever Home is a multi-touchpoint adoption campaign created to promote an Ottawa Humane Society adoption event. The campaign focused on highlighting individual animals while creating a warm, hopeful visual system that encouraged community engagement and in-person attendance.

The goal of the Forever Home campaign was to increase awareness for an upcoming adoption event and emotionally connect potential adopters with animals in need of permanent homes. Rather than relying on heavy or distressing imagery, the campaign was designed to feel optimistic, welcoming, and family-friendly — reflecting the joy and warmth of adoption.

The visual system combined soft, retro-inspired colour palettes with simple graphic shapes and animal silhouettes to create a sense of comfort and nostalgia.

Individual animals were featured across social media posts to humanize the adoption experience, while posters and branded soda cans helped extend the campaign into physical spaces and event environments.

Process

The process began with defining the emotional tone of the campaign: warm, hopeful, and approachable. Research into animal adoption campaigns helped inform a direction that emphasized positive storytelling and clear, accessible information.

The final Forever Home campaign resulted in a cohesive visual system that successfully translated across social media, print, and product design.

The campaign balanced emotional storytelling with clear information, helping the adoption event feel inviting rather than intimidating.

This project demonstrates my ability to design purpose-driven campaigns, adapt a visual identity across multiple formats, and create thoughtful, emotionally resonant work for non-profit organizations.
